Active Rope Access sends trained rope access teams to reach silos, stacks, towers, tanks, bridges and building facades without scaffolding or cranes. The work gets done faster, the area around it stays open, and your plant keeps running.

Every rope access technician works on two independent ropes, a working line and a backup line, under a supervisor and a site-specific safety file. We work under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Mine Health and Safety Act, and we are a member of the Institute for Work at Height.
On short-duration or high-level jobs rope access is usually cheaper, because there is no scaffold to hire, erect and remove. We quote a fixed day rate per team plus site establishment, so you can compare directly.
Yes. Technicians are always attached to two independent ropes, work in teams with a qualified supervisor, and every job has a written rescue plan.
From our offices in Pretoria, Cape Town and Gaborone we work across Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West, the Western Cape, Botswana and the rest of Africa.
